Description
Original news photo of Hall of Fame pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1928 season. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The photo captures Alexander in a pitching pose. The original paper news caption dated "9-28-'28" appears on the reverse, along with an "International Newsreel Photo" credit stamp. The photo (5 x 7 inches) has a chipped bottom-right corner and is in Very Good condition overall.
