Black-and-white Hall of Fame plaque postcard (Albertype, Type 2) of pitcher Cy Young signed by him in black ink along the base. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as “Authentic” (please note PSA mislabeled the card). Cy Young is one of the most desirable of all signed black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards. Black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards were issued only between the years 1944 and 1963. Young was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1937, and he died in 1955. The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) has evidence of album removal on the reverse, along with a couple creases. In Good condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
