Description

Original news photo of Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige. Certified as an original Type 1 photograph by PSA/DNA. The photo captures Paige during the 1942 season as a member of the Kansas City Monarchs, having his arm worked on by team trainer Frank Floyd. The original paper news caption dated "8/2/42" appears on the reverse, as does Paige's name and a few editorial notations. The photo (7-1/8 x 9 inches) displays scattered light creasing and is in Very Good condition overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
