Description

Original photo of Ty Cobb as a member of the Detroit Tigers, circa 1915. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The photo captures Cobb sliding into third base. Per PSA/DNA, "the combination of the Tigers cap (with depicted style D) with this flannel (with old English D) was only worn in 1915." The reverse features black paper residue, tape repairs, and a "1914" pencil notation. The photo (9 x 10 inches) is missing a piece along the top edge, has a chipped top-left corner, and scattered creasing. While technically in Poor condition overall, the photo retains strong clarity and visual appeal.
