Lot # 2457: Circa 1970s Mickey Mantle Country Cookin' Restaurant Dinnerware Collection (7)

Collection of seven pieces of dinnerware from Mickey Mantle's Country Cookin' restaurant. Five of the pieces (large plate, soup bowl, salad bowl, oblong bread plate, and coffee cup) represent a near set of dinnerware from the restaurant chain (missing the small plate and vegetable dish for completion), which operated in Texas and a few other Southern states during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Included are duplicates of the salad bowl and oblong bread plate. Each piece displays light wear and is in Excellent to Mint condition. Also included is a menu (5.5 x 8.5 inches) from Mickey Mantle's restaurant in New York City, which operated from 1988 until it permanently closed in 2012; Excellent condition. Total: 8 pieces.
