Addendum (8/1/25, 2:15 PM): It has been pointed out to us that Frank Snyder's final season for the Cardinals was 1927 and Herman "Hi" Bell played for the Cardinals in 1927 and 1929, but not 1928.
Rawlings "Official League" baseball signed in black ink by 27 members of the 1928 National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals, including Alexander, Bottomley, Hafey, Haines, Maranville, Southworth, McKechnie, Reinhart, H. Bell, Ring (played for Cardinals only in 1927), Thevenow, Holm, Toporcer, Snyder, Frankhouse, Rhem, Douthit, Blades (sweet spot), Littlejohn (played for Cardinals only in 1927 and 1928), and eight we could not identify. (Please note the signatures of Frank Frisch, Ernie Orsatti, and Bob O'Farrell have been deemed clubhouse by JSA.) All of the manufacturer’s stampings remain bold and legible. The ball has light soiling and a few surface abrasions. In Very Good condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
