Brooklyn Dodgers mound ace makes his best pitch for Chesterfield Cigarettes in this colorful 1940s retail advertising sign. Wyatt, who is identified in print next to his image, is pictured delivering a ball, with the text reading "At All Games - It's Chesterfield." A large illustration of a pack of Chesterfield Cigarettes appears in the lower left corner. This piece most likely dates from either late 1941 or 1942, as Wyatt led the National League with a career-high 22 wins in 1941. The sign (21 x 22 inches), which has been laminated and is printed on thick cardboard stock, displays a number of creases and light rippling. In Fair condition overall. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
