Lot # 2315: 1943 St. Louis Cardinals Old Judge Coffee Calendar with Enos Slaughter and Stan Musial

Coffee calendar, issued in promotion of Old Judge Irradiated Coffee, commemorating the 1942 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals. The design features a central illustration of two cardinals, surrounded on all four sides by portrait images of 26 members of the 1942 St. Louis Cardinals, including Stan Musial, Enos Slaughter, manager Billy Southworth, Mary Marion, Harry Walker, George Kurowski, Johnny Hopp, Morton Cooper, and Walker Cooper. The middle portion of the piece advertises for "Old Judge Irradiated Coffee." A wall calendar featuring tear-away calendar pages for the year 1943 is situated below the Old Judge advertising. The poster (14 x 31 inches), which is printed on thin paper stock, displays scattered creasing and a few small edge tears. The reverse features several strips of tape residue/paper loss along the perimeter as a result of prior tape removal. Good condition overall.
