Vintage photo capturing twenty members of the Habana Lions (Cuban League) team circa 1944, highlighted by Hall of Famer Martin Dihigo. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type III photograph by PSA/DNA. Per PSA/DNA, this "photo is a period example that was made from a duplicate negative." Standing tall in the back row center, Dihigo played every position and is considered by many to be the best all-around player to ever take the field. He is one of baseball's greatest legends and has the distinction of being a member of three Baseball Halls of Fame (U.S., Cuba, and Mexico). The reverse displays Dihigo's name written in pencil and evidence of album removal. The photo (8 x 5 inches) has a vertical fold line down the middle, scattered creasing, a missing bottom-left corner, and the number "112" written along the bottom border. Poor condition overall.
