Description

Program issued for the 1939 All-Star Game, held at Yankee Stadium on July 11. A number of Hall of Famers are represented in the lineups for both teams, including Lou Gehrig as honorary captain for the American League. The program (6.5 x 10 inches), which is not scored, exhibits chipping to the bottom-right corner throughout, affecting the front cover, interior pages, and back cover. Additionally, there are patches of light soiling on the front cover. Good condition overall.
