Pair of vintage football games dating from the 1920s and 1930s. 1) Circa 1925 Intercollegiate Football Game. Wood and tin construction, with a revolving drum wheel that dictates the action. Produced by the Hustler Toy Corporation, a subsidiary of the Frantz Manufacturing Company. The front features a beautiful color illustration of a game in progress with brief instructions. More in-depth instructions appear on the reverse. No box. The game (9 x 13-1/2 x 3-1/4 inches) displays light soiling along the front graphic, with some rusting, scuffing, and a few dents also visible. Gd condition. 2) 1935 American Football Game. Produced by Intercollegiate Football, Inc. Game simply consists of a fold-over game board that displays the outcome of the plays in printed lettering and instructions. The game board (18 x 9 inches, unfolded), which is housed in its original illustrated cardboard folder, has two small discolorations along the bottom edge and a minor creases in the corners.
