Description
Original news photo of Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1966. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Ali traveled to Germany to defend his world heavyweight title against Karl Mildenberger, earning a 12th-round TKO. The reverse bears the original paper news caption, a "United Press International" credit stamp, and a few editorial notations. The photo (6.5 x 8.5 inches) is in Excellent condition overall.
