Description

Brooklyn Dodgers regular-season ticket stub issued for a game against the New York Giants on September 7, 1956, in which Jackie Robinson recorded his 1500th career hit. Willie Mays also homered twice (#144 and 145) in the first game of a doubleheader. The Giants defeated the Dodgers 6-2 in the first game, while the Dodgers won the nightcap 3-1.
