Between the years 1914 and 1937, The New York Times published a Mid-Week Pictorial every Wednesday that was, as the title suggested, filled mainly with photographs. Naturally, New York's biggest sports stars, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, were featured often in the publication's pages over the years, as well as the cover. This impressive collection consists of eighty-eight different Mid-Week Pictorial magazines dating from the 1920s. All the magazines, which are bound in two large presentation albums, measure approximately 11 x 16 inches and remain in Fair condition overall. Total: 88 magazines. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
