Rare pair of 1940s PM10 pins of Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth, each issued shortly after their deaths in 1941 and 1948. Unlike other PM10 pins of Yankees from this era, which feature a white border displaying the player's name and team, these examples display a black border and read "Never Forgotten - Lou Gehrig/Babe Ruth." While the Gehrig example is in Excellent condition overall, the Ruth displays several small scratches/surface imperfections to the celluloid surface. Good condition overall. Diameter: 1-3/4 inch.
