Rarely offered example of Ty Cobb from the 1910 Morton's Pennant Winner Bread pin issue. The set is made up of sixteen pins, each of which features a portrait image of a different Detroit Tigers player. This colorful set has always been appreciated both for its rarity and its striking design, features the same player portraits used on the Morton's Buster Brown Bread series. Morton's Buster Brown and Pennant Winner bread pins have long been recognized as two of the rarest and most desirable advertising pin sets of the era. Cobb is the key pin from the set and has always been highly prized. The offered example boasts an Excellent overall appearance, but would technically grade slightly lesser due to a few minor surface imperfections. The paper advertising insert and pinback are intact, with light staining visible. This is just the third Cobb Morton's Pennant Winner Bread pin we have offered in the past twenty-one years. Diameter: 1.25 inches.
