Lot # 2372: 1921 Draper & Maynard Advertisement Display with Babe Ruth

Retail advertising display issued by the Draper & Maynard company in promotion of its line of baseball equipment in 1921. The display features thirty-one portrait images of the baseball stars of the era surrounding a central illustration of the D&M logo. Each player is identified in print below his respective image, including Babe Ruth, Grover Alexander, Casey Stengel, George Sisler, Harry Hooper, Zack Wheat, and Ray Schalk. The display (8-1/8 x 10-1/8 inches; visible dimensions) has a couple light creases. In apparent Excellent condition overall. (Please note we have not examined this piece out of the frame.) Matted and framed to total dimensions of 12.5 x 14.5 inches. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
