Lot # 2353: 1909 Wageman's "Welcome Home" Cy Young Pin

Souvenir celluloid pinback issued in 1909 in honor of Cy Young. This pin was apparently manufactured and distributed by a Cleveland area company called "Wageman's," as its name appears in red beneath Young's portrait. Complete with its original Whitehead & Hoag paper backing. A rare and classic advertising pin featuring the legendary Cy Young in the twilight of his great career. Ex, with minor toning to the reverse paper label. Diameter: 1.25 inches.
