Lot # 2278: Tremendous 1931 to 2024 World Series Program Collection (99)

Presented is a tremendous collection of World Series programs issued between the years 1931 and 2024 (99 programs). It should be noted that up until 1973 each club issued its own World Series program; In 1974, Major League Baseball began producing a single official program for the entire Series. This is a near-complete run, featuring at least one official program from every World Series during that more than 90-year span (missing only 1932 and 1943), along with an example issued by each club for the following years: 1938, 1945, 1946, 1950, 1951, 1957, and 1964. Also included is one duplicate 1951 Giants. The following 15 programs are scored: 1933, 1936, 1938 (both of them), 1944, 1945, 1947, 1949, 1950 (one is scored, one is not), 1952, 1955, 1956, 1957 (both of them), and 1964 (one scored, one is not). Most of these programs are technically in medium to lower-grade (as is often the case with vintage World Series programs), but are extremely presentable. The programs spanning the years 1974 to 2024 range in grade from Very Good to Near Mint, averaging Excellent. This is a very substantial and fairly comprehensive World Series program collection, spanning the years 1931 to 2024. Total: 99 programs.
