Program issued for the 1933 World Series between the New York Giants and Washington Senators, held at Griffith Stadium in Washington. Large portrait images of managers Joe Cronin and Bill Terry are featured on the cover. Not scored but from either Game 3, 4, or 5, which were all played at Griffith Stadium. The Giants defeated the Senators in five games thanks in large part to the mastery of mound ace Carl Hubbell, who won two games while compiling a 0.00 ERA in twenty innings of work. The offered program (7.75 x 10.75 inches) displays light creases. Very Good condition overall.
