Description

Original photo of Tim Jordan used in the production of Jordan's 1911 T3 card. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type 1 photograph by PSA/DNA. Jordan is captured in his Brooklyn Superbas uniform in a fielding pose while playing his customary first base. Photos used in the production of trading cards have become increasingly popular in recent years. This is one of only a small number of vintage photos we have seen featuring a player image used in the T3 series. A "Pictorial News Co." credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with several editorial pencil notations. The photo (6.5 x 4.5 inches), which has been trimmed to its current dimensions, displays editorial crop marks on the front, a crease in the top left, and staining on the reverse. Good condition overall.
