Description

Original news photo capturing Hall of Famers Hughie Jennings and John McGraw posing together on the field as members of the New York Giants. Jennings served as a coach for legendary manager John McGraw during the 1922 season. This photo was taken during spring training in Marlin, Texas. Certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. A "International Newsreel" credit stamp appears on the reverse. The original paper news caption is detached from the reverse. The handwritten notation in pencil on the reverse reads "McGraw and Hugh Jennings / 3-7-22 / Class B." The photo (6-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches) has light creasing. In Very Good condition overall.
