Vintage Charles Conlon news photo of Babe Ruth used in the production of Ruth's 1926-1929 Exhibit-Style card. Encapsulated and certified as an original Charles Conlon Type II photograph by PSA/DNA. Per PSA/DNA, "this photo is a later-issued 1927 restrike featuring an image originally taken in 1920 by Charles Conlon in Ruth's 1st season as a Yankee." Photos used in the production of trading cards have become increasingly popular in recent years. The reverse displays an "Underwood & Underwood" credit stamp, Ruth's handwritten name, and a few stains. The photo (6.5 x 8.5 inches) has a chipped top-left corner, tape stains along all four corners, and light creasing. Good to Very Good condition overall.
