Ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1927 World Series between the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates held at Yankee Stadium on October 7. PSA has encapsulated the ticket and certified it as “Authentic.” The Yankees defeated the Pirates 8-1 in Game 3, which was highlighted by Babe Ruth's three-run home run in the sixth inning. The homer was also his ninth in World Series play. The Yankees swept the Pirates in four games, thereby solidifying their reputation as the greatest team of all time. The ticket stub (2.25 x 4.25 inches), issued for a "Grand Stand" seat, displays creasing and multiple spots of paper loss on the reverse. Fair condition overall.
