Description
Vintage oversized photograph featuring Chicago White Sox manager Kid Gleason in uniform. Gleason became manager of the White Sox in 1919, and he remained in that position through the 1923 season. He is of great historical significance as the betrayed manager of the infamous 1919 "Black Sox." The photo (9 x 16 inches) displays light creasing and minor edge wear. The blank reverse has several pencil notations. In Very Good condition overall. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
