Lot # 2308: 1920s to 1980s St. Louis Cardinals Vintage Photograph Collection (14) Including Maris, Hafey, Bottomley, and Medwick

Collection of fourteen vintage news photos dating from the 1920s through the 1980s, each capturing one or more members of the St. Louis Cardinals. Sizes range from 5 x 7 inches to 8 x 10 inches, with eight of the photos having a "historicimages.com" sticker affixed to the reverse. All but one photo displays a news service credit stamp on the reverse. All the photos display flaws common to news photos, including (but not limited to), edge tears, pinholes, creases, and editorial markings/shadings on the front and/or reverse. Condition ranges from Poor to Very Good, averaging Good overall (with a few better). The players represented in this collection, with the number of photos for each player (if more than one) noted in parentheses, are as follows: Bobby Bonds, C. Davis (Geo. Brace photo stamped on back), Durocher, Hafey, Maris, P. Martin, two Pinson (Ronald L. Mrowiec stamped on back), Reinhart, and Rhem. Multi-player photos (4): Maris/Schoendienst, Medwick/Blades, Weaver/Stanky, and Cunningham/Stanky. Total: 14 photos.
