Ticket stub issued for Game 4 of the 1916 World Series between the Brooklyn Robins (Dodgers) and Boston Red Sox held at Ebbets Field on October 11th. The ticket, which is for the Pavilion section, reads "Game 2," but the number denotes the second game in Brooklyn, not the second game of the Series. Boston won Game 4 by a score of 6-2 en route to a five-game victory over Brooklyn in the World Series. The championship was Boston's second consecutive during a period in which the club won four Series in a span of seven years (1912-1918). The ticket stub (2 x 5-1/8 inches) displays heavy creasing, a tear along the bottom edge, and paper loss on the reverse. Poor condition overall.
