Description

Rarely offered Charles Denby cigar box featuring an image of Hall of Fame catcher Gabby Hartnett along the interior label. The caption "What! Only A Nickel For This Dime Flavor? Yes...Charles Denby Give You Real 10¢ Tobacco for 5¢" appears next to Hartnett's image. The traditional fifty-count box (8.5 x 6 x 2.5 inches) displays the handwritten notation "Cooper Scrap" along the right panel and handwritten numbers along the underside. Manufactured by Fendrich Cigar Company out of Evansville, Indiana. Moderate wear throughout, although the important interior label remains fully intact. Good condition overall.
